HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN WBA?
The price varies depending on the age team you play on as well as whether the team travels out of the King County area where travel expenses are added. Price varies for the 10-month Season.
Includes the use of the facilities for the players own use outside of practices and training. For more info please contact us at info@wabaseballacademy@gmail.com
WHAT KIND OF TRAINING IS PROVIDED?
All of our teams have 2-3 training/practices a week that are led by our training coaches along with the team coaches.

During the off-season training we will work on the fundamentals of the game. We provide hitting days with our hitting coaches, throwing/pitching days with our pitching coaches, Catchers training with our catching coach and fielding training with our infield and outfield coaches.

Our on-field days we will work on game knowledge and position defense. We will provide reps to teach the positions and how to execute each positions responsibilities.

We also have a full weight room for our high school players to work out in. We have a weight training coach on staff to help with the workout plan.

HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ON THE TEAM ROSTER?
Roster size varies depending on the age team.
8U-12U roster size is 13-14 players
13U -14U roster size is 14-15 players
15U-16U roster size is 16-18 players
18U the roster size is 18-22 players
WHY ARE THERE MORE PLAYERS ON THE TEAM ROSTER AS THEY GET OLDER?
For the younger teams, we carry 13-14 players to make sure that we have enough players at all of the practices and games/tournaments.
As the teams get older, the fields get bigger, and we play more innings/games. We need to carry more pitchers to make sure we don't run out and can complete the tournament.
IS PRIVATE TRAINING AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF TEAM PRACTICES?
Yes, for an additional cost, our coaches are available for private lessons. WBA players receive a 15% Discount off of the regular lesson price.
We have experienced baseball coaches specializing in all positions on the baseball field.
- Hitting
- Pitching
- Infielding
- Catching
- Outfield

ARE PLAYERS ALLOWED TO PLAY OTHER SPORTS?
Yes, we believe the more sports a child plays the more well rounded they will be as an athlete and person. We are a Little League/Pony League friendly program.
We do ask that if a player plays other sports during our off-season training and summer tournament time, they work around the schedule and come to as many practices as possible to keep up with their development.

WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?
Off-season training begins Mid to Late October.and goes through February.
Our 8U-12U players will start their Little League/Pony League season in March and our 15U-18U players begin their High School seasons. Once the High School season ends in late May the teams will return together and start playing their WBA games/tournaments. This will go through July.

WHERE ARE THE PRACTICES?
Practices are held at our 2 indoor baseball facilities (Go Time Athletics) in Georgetown and West Seattle. We also have outdoor practices at local baseball fields around the Seattle area (weather permitting).
WHERE ARE THE GAMES/TOURNAMENTS?
Games are played all around the Puget Sound area from Everett to Tacoma.
Some teams will play outside of the Seattle area, traveling to Centralia, Yakima, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Pulman and Oregon, Arizona (8U-14U), and New York (12U) is also a possibility
HOW MANY GAMES DO WE PLAY?
For our 8U-12U teams, we schedule a minimum of 4 tournaments.
This includes an opportunity for our 9U-14U teams to travel to Arizona to play in a tournament during Mariners Spring Training.
Our 12U teams also have the opportunity to play in the Cooperstown Dreams Park, NY, tournament in August.

Our 13U-18U team goal is to play in at least 35-40 games during the summer months of June-July. We take August off to allow time for families to take their family vacation before school starts in September.
